A semester-long commitment to creating resources, presentations, and handouts on digital content for classes of interdisciplinary students where I gained experience in peer tutoring and consultations, specializing in the development of professional portfolios, digital storytelling, personal branding strategies, and online digital tools.
This was a valuable opportunity to to partner professionally and directly with students, professors, and team members across campus to research and present tools for content creation to aid in students’ understanding of the changing digital landscape.

A close partnership with the Washington D.C. based non-profit called Network for Developing Conscious Communities (NDCC) in which I help maintain their WordPress site, updating events, creating graphics as well as creating other promotional and educational print material.
MEDIA PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Media Production Assistant
This academic year, I had the opportunity to work within JMU Libraries as a Media Production Assistant, where I developed media for faculty, staff and student use both inside and outside the classroom. This content ranges from instructional videos, to photography for events, and web materials.
German Letter Translation
Under direction of German Professor Beate Warden, I had the opportunity to work with JMU to translate a collection of letters donated by a local family in Waynesboro. Our work contributes to the understanding of families in post WWII Germany, and our translations work to enhace the exhibit of a local German Museum in VA.

Invitational Video
I created a short, 30 second video to offer a warm welcome to the parishioners at my home parish, St. Matthew's Episcopal, to attend their annual meeting to review the outreach, impact, fundraising, and community building from the past year.

Educational Ethical Reasoning Video Submission
As part of a campus-wide contest to promote ethical reasoning skills, a friend and I paired up to create the following video to help show how the '8 Key Questions' of ethical reasoning show up in our daily lives.
JMU SafeRides - Promo Video
I helped to create a video that enables students to learn more about JMU's own SafeRides, an organization that prioritizes student safety, giving hundreds of rides each semester to ensure every Duke gets home safe without the threat of drunk driving.
