DIGITAL SCHOLARSHIP SERIES LOGO DESIGN

I worked closely within teams of JMU Libraries to develop a logo for their academic program: the Digital Scholarship series. This program works to introduce faculty and graduate students to the theories and practices of digital scholarship, promote a community of digital scholars and explore the relationship between digital scholarship, digital pedagogy, and scholarly communication.

WHAT WE NEED WEDNESDAYS:
Instagram Graphic CTA's

During my time as Creative Director for St. Matthew's Episcopal church, I worked to bring our services to the digital landscape to foster a feeling of community and resilience amidst a pandemic where traditional worship was no longer possible.

This work also included raising awareness of and boosting engagement for parish programs such as Backpack Buddies, in which we ask for varying items to be distributed to the community.

I created these visuals as part of a weekly call to action on Wednesdays.

BEATHA GALWAY: FOOD WASTE INVESTIGATION PROJECT IN IRELAND

This past summer of 2019, I spent 6 weeks studying abroad with JMU's School of Media Arts and Design's program: Ireland: Media Culture and Society. We explored all over Ireland, stopping first in Dublin to work on a digital design solution case study for Deloitte Digital, then Derry, then Connemara, and finally in Galway, where we tackled our main project: An investigative look at food waste and food insecurity and Galway.

I worked collaboratively with our Multi Media team to create a website full of content from journalism and video production teams, who facilitated and published interviews.

The multimedia team was tasked with not only
building the WordPress site, but creating a logo, brand identity, and social media campaign to draw attention to food waste.

SHELF'D LOGO DESIGN

I designed the logo for Canterbury Campus Ministry's food pantry initiative, Shelf'd, to end student hunger on campus. This will be used in our efforts to provide awareness of student hunger on JMU's campus, as well as help garner support for donations and supplies to keep the pantry running.

CANTERBURY ECM SHIRT DESIGN

I designed the logo for the tshirts of my organization, Canterbury Campus Ministry, for Fall 2018.

"GOD LOVES EVERYONE, NO EXCEPTIONS" is such a critical statement in terms of our organization's identity, so being able to convey that tenant in a visually pleasing way on fabric was such a joy and a blessing for me.

Cactus Sticker Design

A summer project to advance my skills in Adobe Illustrator. These stickers were the first of many digital drawing projects I took on in the summer.
